Civ 4 featured in the new Video Games Live concert in LA!

Yo everyone,

So, there is this concert being played at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles next Thursday (the 21st) called Video Games Live.

They play a whole medley of music from Civ 4. This is the first time this music has been played by a live orchestra with syncronized video!

The composer of some of the Civ. 4 music, Christopher Tin, will be on hand at the pre-show meet and greet. Other people at the meet and greet are here: Hollywood Bowl Meet and Greet

Tickets are SUPER cheap.... anywhere from $3 - $65 and there is a whole pre-show festival starting at 5:30. That includes Guitar Hero 2 competitions, Space Invaders competitions, playable game demos and even a costume contest!! I wanna see some COOL costumes there!!!

I'll be there and would love to meet some fellow Civ fans.

Wow...this is one of my dreams come true as both a musician and a gamer.

Despite living less than an hour away, I am still a student and am (alas) constrained by my schoolwork. And it is a "school night".

It pains me that I live so close yet I cannot go =/
