Civ 5 Art Competition - Voting Round 1d

Because of the large amount of entries, we have to break this into four groups. You are allowed to vote for one logo in each of these four groups, and the top 5 entries from each group will move forward to a "final".

This poll will stay open for 1 week.

I reckon though, with the approval of the icon submitters that these should be able to be put up together as Icons for use when Civ V comes out with Mods and that. It should be simple enough to organize and work on...

found nothing good in this group, so I intentionally voted for something that looked awful. So far the only one to make that particular choice.

The winged V (12th position or so) has merit. The bottom CiV lacks contrast in comparison with the stylized CiV in group 1A.

Mercade, the winged V looks too much like the EvE Online logo
Then again, I really don't have a favourite in this bunch. Maybe the last icon.

yeah, the icon of EVE used to look exactly like that, just in different colours

haha I searched online and mine really looks like the EVE logo. The difference is that my horizontal lines don't end at the same spot, but each one down ends a little earlier, for the winged effect. I actually would have put more lines, but I could only fit 3 [the reason it looks like an E] because I did this in MS Paint [using the lonely V one as a base], and that was the finest line possible. But anyways, it's not like it stands a chance anyway, I just thought I'd do something different than the ones already submitted.

I repeat, all of these should be posted with permission of the creator to form a library of Civilization V Icons for mod creators to get started with if they want them. A bank of Civilization V Icons for those of us that like to customize our systems and our mod icons.
