Civ 5 G&K v.6 Crash

Wanted to start a new game and saw a new version and gave it a shot. I click launch and then the music stops 3 seconds later and crash. I think I got everything in this file...

Oh crap... nvidia update... ops... lets see if that solves my problem...

Seek actually I remember now it crashed for me awhile back on select mod screen because I forgot to activate the mod's check box.
 
I don't see anything noteworthy in those log files. I haven't encountered any crashes myself, so I'm uncertain what to suggest. Have you tried it with other G&K-compatible mods?

I didn't even get past the initial mods menu (where you enable mods) - I hit "Next" and got a CTD immediately.
If it happens before you start a game it's probably not caused by mods, but I can't be certain.
 
No the only mod I have going is yours...

Ok I just check file integrity and fixed 5mbs of files. Then I hit another problem. So I thought I should delete my mods in my games/civ5 mods folder and then unsubscribe and unfavorite and then refav and subscribe. Civ 5 never downloads the mod... what do I do (I have restarted civ5 and restarted steam with unsubing and subing...)?
 
You can download the project directly from civfanatics.

I don't think changing your favorite or subscription status will affect the game. That's part of steam, a separate thing.
 
i can't launch v.13
you don't explain what you did to make it works Hawawaa, share! ;)

I checked integrity, got the same 5mb update, but still can't launch it.
 
I cleared cach and moduserdata, checked integrity, old mod folder is deleted, tried without changing anything in advanced setup, tried with different setups (size, civs, speed, map,..) there are no other mods enabled, I play in English, I can play with other mods,...I deleted your mod and reinstalled it also. Nothing. Still stucked when pressing Start Game.

I don't know what to try next.
Only thing I didnt try is to move all the mods from the mods folder and just let civup. But I think I would have do unsubscribe from each one, or the workshop will re-install them automatically


OK, I FINALLY CAN PLAY with CiVuP .13

I did again al those things AND I deleted al the mods in the MODS folder; I downloaded manually "civ v unofficial patch (beta) (v 13).civ5mod" and put in ltike that in the MODS folder (correct? or is there another thing to do?)

when I got into the MODS section into the game, it was written "no mods installed" and the, one second after, it was automatically installing all the mods I subscribed to into the Workshop.
I just enabled CivuP .13 and launched the game with Alex, Continents, Standard size and speed, no advanced setup. IT WORKS.

Maybe it's one of my ooold mods? There were in my mods folder some mods which i didn't subscribed to in the Workshop, so they haven't been installed now.
 
Civ does load data from all mods installed in the mods folder, even old disabled mods. It's #6 on the common checklist and vanilla bug #4 lower down on that post. :thumbsup:
