Civ 5 in 5 Mins: "Official" Updates

Nice try with France, but you should have known, England as a neighbor when you are playing France? It ALWAYS end by a war (personal experience in the game). Still I never thought Indonesia would be so warmonger.

I was naive to think we'd be friends the whole time... perhaps merging our languages into some bastardized half-romance, half-anglo-saxon situation. But no, she had to fall to peer pressure. My theming bonuses were too much, I should've taken my time - built a proper army (not that I could've taken on EVERYONE at once!)

Thanks for watching guys. Let me know if you have any tips/requests. I am horrible at dominating as this video shows - although I should've created more enemy Civs for Ramses to defeat, maybe balance things out.

USA is Not OK Emperor difficulty. Assyria, Sweden, Egypt

Like your vids but you should consider manually assigning citizens and specialists, don't think I've seen you do it in any of your vids, games will take a bit longer but you'll find it makes a huge difference.

I promise I do!

I pay a lot of attention between turns and while it looks like certain things get forgotten I am always tinkering with who is working what at least by changing the focus. I have no shame in leaving a city in science mode for the greater-good of late game. I am pro at monitoring production/food levels and ensuring a switch before a project is complete or new population increase to take advantage of the citizen's excess abilities (that is, switching off food when you are one turn away from a new citizen... if I've explained that clearly?).

Thanks for the support =)

Greatly enjoying your videos :) That's a new approach to Civ let's plays. I sometimes wish you played bigger maps with more civs, but it's just my skew when playing Civ. Your video format would be perfect to try out and showcase some modded civs, but there are so much of them I doubt you would want to go through them all.

Anyway, great job and hoping for more. Subbed on youtube as well :)

Awesome! I wish my computer liked huge maps - depending on how many Civs/City-States things can slow to a crawl VERY quickly and that just ruins the fun. I will see what I can do though - larger maps will mean longer, more-indepth videos which are fun but I really just want to get a base of every Civ done at least once then start making things interesting.

Thank you for subscribing - it means a lot to see that number grow and I promise I was excited whenever it went from x to x+1 when you hit the button!

I know it's only been a few days but feels like I've been waiting a month for your next vid, your commentary is brilliant

I'll take that! Thanks. More on the way by the end of tonight hopefully (unless my roommate gets home from work early, I don't like uploading vids when he's home because it hogs bandwidth!)

Canada is played on a Tiny Canada map, and it does not get too in-depth with the Canadian UA/UU because it was my first attempt at the modded Civ and I had no idea what I was getting into other than familiar city names!
