I think you're asking how to attach a save file to a post. If so, look for a Manage Attachments button below the main editing screen. It's not available in Quick Reply, only the full reply option. Press that button and then you can browse to files on your hard drive and upload them.
I'm trying to ask how to view the Civ5Save files...basically where is the player to view them? Sorry if I phrased it wrong. I know Cow has a viewer to view the replay files, but is there one for the Civ5Save files?
I think he means where on his hard drive are the saved game files stored? The save files are kept in My Documents -> My Games -> Sid Meier's Civilization 5.
Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I think he was asking what I am trying to find the answer to: what do you open those save files with? The game? Does that just show me people's positions & such or what? Trying to figure out how that would be useful...
A saved file is for saving the game during play and reloading it if one needs to do so. Only the game itself can open a saved file, unless you want to strip the replay options up to the point of the save. The replay is used to determine what happened during game play. It is used to keep people from winning who cheat. Some people just like watching the game over for some reason or other.
