I'm about 6 hrs into my current Match on Civ V: gods and kings. And i'm currently invading The Arabian empire. However a Celtic worker for some unknown reason is stuck in their last city (Mecca).
And so for me to defeat the Arabians i have no choice but to declare war on the Celts.
However as soon as i do so i'm left stuck in the cut-scene (with Boudica) . And then a 'rendering error' message pop ups on my screen. Causing me to have to force close Civ V.

I've attempted this part about half a dozen times and the same outcome occurs each time.
Plus this is the 3rd time during my current Match I've declared war on another Empire. And on the first two cases this issue hasn't occurred.

Thanks for reading. And any help is much appreciated.

You can use a simple work-around for this problem.

Go to steam workshop and subscribe to "Ingame Editor mod". It's one of the top rated ever mods. It will allow you to teleport the worker outside the city.

In order to change your current game, copy your save game from your save folder to the folder with modded saves. Everything is in your my documents/my games folder. Start Civ5 and instead of loading the game normally, go to "mods" section, make sure that the editor is enabled and proceed to load your game from this menu.

In game, open edition menu (it's in the top bar). Everything here is extremely intuitive. Pick city edition sub menu, click on the plot with worker, use teleport, and send him somewhere else.

Et voila!
