Civ II versus Civ II : Test of Time

Can anybody easily describe the difference betwtween CivII and Civ II : Test of Time?

Well, I'm assuming you only have Civ 2. ToT has Ctp/Civ 3 type graphics but can be played the same as Civ 2 with these graphics. There are also options to extend the game by putting in aliens to go find and stuff, I've never really got into one of these extended games so I can't describe it to you. The same goes for the fantasy games where I think you can be goblins and stuff...
