From gamespot:

However, the news wasn't all bad. The company confirming that two of its most anticipated games--The Warriors (PS2, Xbox) and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP)--will ship as scheduled during its fourth quarter, which ends October 31, 2005. PC gamers will be pleased to learn that Civilization IV is being moved up several weeks, and will also ship before this coming Halloween.

Sounds pretty sweet to me.

I'll believe it when I see the game in my hot, sweaty hands. Not before.

Halloween is celebrated every October 31st.

Confirmed here on Take-Two's site.

Their fiscal year goes from Nov 1 through Oct 31.

Ahhhhhhh!! (wets self) um, BYE.

Help out an ignorant European here, when's Halloween again?
Its when everyone dresses up as monsters (Or dorks) and goes around trying to get candy or playing tricks on people. So where are you from?

If they move it up and there are still bugs with it I will be mighty disappointed. If this is just a rush to get money, I am not please, on the other hand, if we are assured this is bugfree (to the best of their ability), I am all for it.

Space is from the Netherlands.

I can see how this can be considered rushing the game out, but I have full faith in Firaxis, plus warpstorm said that they said they would make their original time table.

If this is true it just made my day!!!-----> :D As far as Bugs are concerned there are always bugs when any new game is released and the patches soon follow. ;)

Just like most people had faith in Conquests that turned out some bugs? :( (And non-fixed ones, I might add). For the SGA, if that is going to be such a big feature, wouldn't you test it?!

It'll probably be the week of Halloween... Which is a lot better then November 15th :)

Keep in mind what just happened to Take2.

Halloween aye, hope we see it down under not too long afterwards. ;)

UMMMMM I dont know what to say ..........going to be a big smile on my face :D all day until they change thier mind and release it later and then I will have to cry

i think this is absolutely horrible. i would rather have a great, excellent, well thought out and well tested game in December, than a lousy, half-assed rushjob in October. :(

are u sure it is a rush job

we have been seein game footage for months maybe they have been play testin it this whole time and are satisfied with the product

has anyone heard if there is going to be scenarios with this or if this is going to be a vanilla version?
