that makes things a bit easier - so no go ahead and do the following:
open windows explorer (e.g. by clicking on the my computer icon on your desktop).
click on tools
click on folder options
in the options screen that opens click on view
scroll down until you find an entry called
Hidden files and folders
immediately below that click on Show hidden files and folders
click on ok.
then go into the control panel and delete all three games (I forget if you have warlords installed if not just delete the 2 installed ones of course).
Now for the manual deletion of files:
in order to delete
...\documents and settings\<username>\my documents\my games\sid meier's civilization 4
double click on my computer
double click on local drive (C: )
double click on documents and settings
double click on your username
double click on my documents
double click on my games
right click on sid meier's civilization 4
choose delete in the menu that opens
click on yes when it asks you if you really want to delete the file.
Do the same for all other file paths I listed above, i.e. each item between \ and \ is one thing you need to double click on in order to get to the next level in the file system. I preceeded the first \ with ... as in ...\documents and settings\etc because I don't know how your hard drive is called by default it is Local Drive (C: ) in which case think all iterations of ...\ as Local Drive C:\
if you have any more difficulties ask - I hope I have not made things more confusing
