you got several points, however: the american system is not very liberal. I'd say MORE liberal than my country but just because you're allowed to carry guns doesn't make the system liberal. I'd say america is more of a totalitarian state than liberal in comparision to, for example, the netherlands. of all the countries I've been to the US is the one that gives me the most totalitarian feeling of law enforcement and governmental rule.

if right = individualism then the ultra right should be the libertarians. but most ppl I know in the states actually consider the libertarians to be communists...
