Civ of the Week: Russians

Good point, Vinc.
It has been stated that the CSU is supposedly from the height of power for the civ in question, no?
I was thinking that the Minuteman was (for me, anyway) a lot more exemplary of America in many ways, but Vinc's point shoots that down.
I'm sure there's holes to be poked in this theory, but oh well.

Well, i think the height of russian power was when they became one of two world superpowers just after WWII. They kinda slid downwards after that, but the war and post-war years I think were the time when Russia was the greatest militarily, culturally and politically. (I am not a communist, btw, but they had a lot more influence then than they ever had. As to culturally, you may say communism is nekulturniy, but just after WWII was when Russia was probably the most united and ambitious.)
