We've been playing a two player game over the internet and on a local network. We've choosen to have a password protection for the game but no passwords for our civs, we left them blank as the game say you can do.
When we had reached 1969 and loaded the game it demanded a Civ Password as usual. But now it wouldn't accept the blank password anymore, neither the password for the game or anything else. It simply had made up it's own password and we can't continue the game.
This is the second game that's interrupted by this problem. The last time it also happened in the later part of the game 1950-70.
Has it happened to anyone else and did you find a sollution?
Is there a savegame editor that can remove civ passwords?
I've attached the savegame in case someone would be able to access it and tell us what the password is.
