Civ V World Builder Crashes on Start

So, whenever I start up ModBuddy to go into world builder I click on the otpion worl builder, my computer processes the request for a few seconds, then it says the program has unexpectedly stopped working. I just installed the ModBuddy today, any suggestions from anyone?

copy the file d3dx9_42.dll to the worldbuilder folder, worked for me. same solution when civ 5 didn't work and said needed directx although win 7 dx11.
