Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Oh I always play with legendary start. That's why the location is so OP .

Oh well, I rerolled and got a hills & mountains start, plus a very fortunately placed city state (Palenque, right between me and the nearest barb camp). Take that, Barbs!!

I ****ing hate this game sometimes.

I just love it at turn 10 or so when my warrior is 5 odd tiles away from the capital and a camp spawns 4 tiles to the opposite direction and there is absolutely not a single thing you can do.

well.. you could deactivate barbarians, for a start... which doesn't change the game too much except for not having to hassle with barbs. you can't get some of the eurekas though, which isn't a problem if you're not playing those hardcore-science-victory-in-100-turns-or-less-games.

Really?????? Free settler anyone? haha Save below if anybody wants it.

...Why does Gandhi have multiple settlers? O_O

First Experience of the Start placement bug.jpg

Finally, my first experience with this bug. Needless to say, I got a second settler...
Inland Sea Civ distribution is pretty bad, so no surprise that I got dumped on one side with a bunch of Civs, while the other Civ had Russia, Australia, and a Civ I haven't met yet. Peter conquered Australia, and dominates that side....He'll be the final boss of my game.

The Misty Mountains.jpg

My exploration of the North side of the Inland Sea has reached a dead end, The Misty Mountains. :p

Poor Armagh.jpg

Poor Armagh... They got conquered by China, and ended up razed by Barbarians. Where did the Northern Irish refugees go? :(

@Guandao I once one a culture victory on an Inland Sea map without ever meeting the last civ. :p I confess I love the Inland Sea map for its weirdness; I rarely play on anything else. I could go for shuffle, but that's just too weird. No jungle in the arctic for me, thanks. :p

Pretty sure shuffle is just "one of pangaea, continents, island plates or fractal"...

You're right; I meant fractal. Fractal is the one that produces bizarre results.

Hm... I've also played a number of games of Fractal, but I've never seen something like jungle in the arctic...

No? I've played on fractal twice and never liked it because of the strange arrangement of terrain. I've seen tundra next to desert; tundra near the equator; jungle in the far north. And frequently a lack of rivers and mountains. Maybe I got extraordinarily unlucky twice, but either way it's turned me off that particular map script.
