Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

You've heard of the underground railroad, now it's time for the underwater railroad.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's the first time I've seen this. Actually I don't even recall seeing this natural wonder in my games, certainly not one in my territory. I rarely if ever have a natural wonder anywhere in my territory. I always seemed to get screwed on those. Just too bad the city governor insists on working that tile when I'm a size 1 city with 0 growth.

I normally build railroads any place I have a road, so it's just chance that my trade route happened to go through this.

Obvious comedy value aside, I always kind of felt that the devs should have treated "impossible starts" like that as a bug and tried to prevent them from occuring.

If units were able to swim within their own borders, many impossible starts would be fixed.

Given that people and their animals up to and including cattle, sheep and goats reached Cyprus, Crete and the Aegean Islands before 6000 BCE, or 2000 years before the nominal Start of Game, coastal travel by Civilian Units and Scouts should be possible from the start if the game were really any kind of 'historical' 4X . . .

Just planning out my England game where I just found Auckland...

EDIT: I just realized, with the rule where minimal city distance is one less if the cities aren't on the same landmass, that island can also hold a city...

So, yeah. You see that 100 science per turn?

70 of that is from my golden age dedication. In one click from falling behind to easily outpacing every AI.

I also want to point out my gold per turn; game age is Renaissance, I myself am only slightly head of the curve in terms of science and culture. There are four Trade city states in this game. And yes, I am straight up doubling RND and Commercial Hub in most of my cities. Let's see if I can hit 10k gold per turn in the lategame. Banks give a completely bonkers 22 gold per turn (might've been 21 without my balance mod, not that it matters much...).

(oh yeah and Auckland is temporarily occupied... alliance is about to run out and then I'm going to have some fun with my navy)

EDIT: Kilwa pushing me to 1500 gpt two turns later.

Okay this gold generation is starting to get silly.

I don't even have Seaports unlocked yet.

"A strong military is highly recommended."

Me: But what if I just never boost Mercenaries?

Explain yourself, Gorgo!

>Find Torres Del Paine
>Settle it
>Build Preserve
>Add farms around it
>???

(on an unrelated note, timing 4 heroes, your unique Heavy Cav unit and your Crusade religion for an invasion is uh... a little broken)
