Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

About aliens... did you know they have a knack for machine guns?
At least in my case I found this after five city ruins.

I was grinding for the "Out of Sight,Out of Mind" but seriously, 6 machine guns is excessive. Almost thought it was linked to a bug.

I'm not sure what causes that. Sometimes I get smoke trails, but I think those may be intentional? (like contrails?). This just seems like a graphical bug. I tend to get one every game.

I got a long one my last game. Right through my armada of Great Admirals I was too lazy to do anything about. England tends to get a lot of those.

I like that it seems to be lighting up the Statue of Liberty.

The game is just highlighting the only long-distance love relationship that works in your world during that turn (if one).

Wish I'd planned this better. Had I known I was going to get this unit to level 8 along with every possible promotion, I would have picked a better name. Given that I'm playing as Rome, they should have been called Legio XVIII Gemina. "Thirteen!"

I love this sort of start. You move first, right? So you declare war immediately, capture the settler (thus elimiating his civilisation), and whoosh... you start the game with two settlers and one less opponent.

Exactly that! You start deity with 2 settlers, perfect landmasses, ahead in religion, tech and everything.
Check this one:

Ooo are you playing as the Mayans? Because I'm foreseeing quite a few +4 observatories around here.
(If that's Babylon or anyone else then forget that I said anything)

Babylon, but it's still perfect start. Check the link with save.

That's a pretty sweet spawn ;)

ba-dum tssss

More than that! :D

Not sure if this is funny, it's more laughable. Spain declared war on Nan Madol, I declare protectorate war. I was unaware of his fleet of robots. France hates Spain, so no open borders. I block his direct path with my ship, robots can not compute, walk back and forth, never firing a shot. I had no uranium but got a GDR from golden age. Killed all his GDR's, which until the last one all had the strength penalty from insufficient uranium. The last one actually did a melee attack on my GDR, but was already at low health from my range attack and died.
I do hope that CIV7 will have a little more polish, and doesn't put in units that the AI does not know how to use.

Yeah AI sucks with GDR's. One time I declared war on one that had like 8 GDR's. They posed no threat whatsoever. They are vulnerable to Navy ships since they love to park them in water, and carriers with jet bombers can clean them up when they are in the water (though over land they can get shot down).

And honestly, I know we don't want to go "backwards", but Civ5 also had problems with the AI parking land units in water. But I still think AI in Civ4 was better at moving land units across water. Maybe my memory is biased. Yes I'm saying transports weren't all bad. Yeah they were more micromanagement I admit.

I love this thread. :)
