Civ3 Flash Animation

I made an animation about "Spearman vs. Tank" in Civ3. After it was rejected from Newgrounds because there's a low tolerance for newbie animation and people didn't 'get' the civ jokes much, i put it on deviantart. here's the link: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18212177/

note: I'm pretty sure that posting the link wouldn't count as advertising, since I would put it here if I could (it's far too big of a file) and I don't have anything else on Deviantart, including links to a different site.

another note: I forgot to mention it in the description, but I did use the spearman vs. tank emoticon from this site in the animation.

Pretty cool. Someday you should do some Jib-Jab type skits. Perhaps put the "Spearman vs. Tank" to some sort of music.

Nice job dude! You have good sense of humor But it should be defense victory, not attack (that expression I got) Something like Tank is trying to come in city and at the gates it bumps spearman and destroys. But I don't know would it be so good. Anyway

That's awesome. It's almost identical to one I made about a month ago - without the Spearman Anime-attack (kudos), though I couldn't figure out how to do the html or whatever to post it...???

Nice work anyhow - you should send it to Firaxis. Motivation for them to get it right in "C4: Revenge of the Tank"

I suspect one major reason why Newgrounds rejected the flash was that only Civ players would understand what it was all about.
