Hi - I'm a Civ Fanatic since the original Sid classic. However I'm having the worst time with Civ3.
I'm using Win2K with a Nvidia TNT2 card and a SB PCI 128. I have the latest patches/drivers for all three, as well as the 1.21 patch for Civ3. As an added precaution, I also stop other applications before I try to play Civ. However within a few minutes the screen freezes and I have to reboot the pc. This happens every time.
I've tried a variety of tips shown in this forum, but nothing works. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.
