How is the map working for you all? Do you find it interesting? I'd like some feedback as it was the first map I've designed.

I have enjoyed this map quite a bit and find the little winding passages of one move tiles (swamp, forrest & jungle) a bit of a challenge as I continue to explore the map. Of course there's still quite a few strategic resources (Saltpeter, rubber, oil, etc) to be uncovered, but the luxury locations have been quite welcome. If you're agreeable, I'll be requesting your services in the future for upcoming PBEM games.

I'll echo denyd's statements. This map is one of the most unique I've ever played on, and the layout makes for a challenging and interesting game. From what I've seen of the map so far in game, you've done a great job gbno1fan! :goodjob:

I'd love to have an excuse to make another map. Just let me know when you need it (give me about a week's notice), how many players, and whatever other details you may have.

I'm glad you all like the map so much.

It is with great pleasure that I announce the completion of the Pyramids in Helicon. This new wonder will allow my people to continue to be fruitful and multiply.

I fear that soon the world will be flooded by Iroquios people...

Not really as we are quite content at this time to peacefully fill in the unclaimed lands. Actually at this point pretty much every town I found will be at least 75% corrupt.

An agricultural tribe with a huge lead in every category right now with the Pyramids and in a Golden Age? Nothing to worry about here... :p

We are just peace loving farmers who enjoy the fruits (and vegetables) of our labors. To quote Asimov: "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent"

BTW: If anyones interested, I thinking about starting a PBEM game around December 1st. It'll be on a standard map with 4 good sized continents. Each continent will contain 2 tribes. Each player will manage both tribes on their starting continent. The paired tribes will be in a locked alliance. The order of play will be each player will play both sets then pass on to the next player who'll play 2 sets and so on...

Right now I'm thinking about monarch level, sedantary barbarians and changing SoZ to 300 shields with no ivory required. Each continent will be nicely salted with luxuries & resources so if they want to be a builder that'll be possible.

Let me know, if you're interested. I'll probably post the game notice around Nov 15th. GBNO1Fan has agreed to provide a balanced map for us.
