Question for the other PBEM players: What's the policy on using CivAssist II? I'm used to using MapStat and noticed last night that it's does not work with MP games. I'd have to download it and install it, so if it's taboo, I'll skip the effort.

I thought MapStat worked with MP games - I thought I used it during the last MTDG. Maybe you have an old version ?

As far as I'm concerned, I think we should just play by the rules of the MTDG II to keep things simple. If we do that, CAII is fair game.

I think my MapStat is current (I rebuilt my system in Jan), but if CAII is ok, I'll give that try.

Mapstat does work with MP games, but the other CrP suite apps don't.

With CA2 you have to supply the password for looking at MP games, so thus it is safe to look at, unless you stupidly forgot to protect your save file.
