I'm at wit's end with this display issue. In all game modes (including world builder), I cannot see any of the terrain details such as resources or villages.
I have already refreshed my dx version and performed a clean reinstall of my display drivers. I also (previously) updated to v1.74 to see if that solved my issue. It din't, promoting an uninstall/reinstall to version 1.61.
I'm having difficulty believing that it is an issue with my display hardware. My older system (custom rig from 2001) uses the same GeForce 7600gs and drivers (albeit the AGP variant) and has no such display issues (it's just too slow to run the game smoothly 1.6ghz P4).
At any rate, I feel like a schmuck registering here only to beg for tech help but I've just about pulled every hair out of my head looking for a solution on my own. In advance, I appreciate any time dedicated to my problem.
