I just installed Civ4 Complete + patches to a WinXP laptop and the Colonization game keeps crashing to desktop randomly after several turns and there seems to be no auto-saving going on... which really sucks.
Any idea why this is going on? I'm going to look into the SL500 Lenovo/IBM drivers, but i think they're up to date. Please give advice if you have had this experience before... tia! =)
UPDATE: (I just updated all the Lenovo laptop drivers and BIOS etc.)

UPDATE: This probably has something to do with IBM/Lenovo laptops or its powermanager which is acting flakey. I do not have these crashes on another desktop system on the same OS level.
