Civ4 GameSpy Multiplayer Rendezvous

Hi All

I'm new to Multiplayer, but I'd like to get into some online games.
This thread is to arrange Rendezvous for starting games with players of similar skill, timeframe and objectives. We then hook-up using the in-game Multiplayer menu, ie on GameSpy.

My GameSpy id is EddyHolland

My level is Monarch +/- depending.

The Online games I propose to play have the following setup:

• Terra
• Small map size
• Normal game speed (Quick if most ppl vote for it)
• Ancient start age
• No Barbs
• All victory conditions
• Monarch level (+/-)
• TurnTimer = Medium (Fast if most ppl vote for it)
• 5 or 6 players
• No declarations of war before Turn 10.

All other rules: standard rules

Either FFA or 3 v 3

Loss of connection Etiquette:
- Please signoff to the other users before leaving
- Otherwise, we assume you lost connection
- We vote 'Wait' for 2 mins, after 2 mins we vote 'Continue' without you.
- Unless, you signoff (then we just continue).

Timeout Etiquette:
A timeout can be agreed beforehand in the lobby, for example every 1hr for 5 mins or every 2hr for for 15 mins, whatever.

If you want to join my game, I'll be hosting one tomorrow from 10:30am GMT, and again from 18:00 GMT (approx). It will be called EddyHolland Terra Small Monarch Norml Monarch FFA on Gamespy.

Moderator Action: I've stuck this thread and we'll see if it's any more successful than the GameRanger one. Note that GameSpy is cross platform, so publicising here will not attract the bigger audience of PC players out there.
