If it's any consolation though, Indians do get kicka$$ mounted warriors early on, which beat anything the Euro powers can throw at them right up until the late game. So it's not as though the designers didn't accord the native Americans some respect.

Also, although the Indian tribes are minor powers and can't be played, you can trade with them and eventually invite them to join your empire peacefully. The AI powers often use this tactic. It's just that as the human player, it's often a lot more efficient to just take 'em out

I try to wipe Gandhi as soon as possible...... it's an old tradition from Civ1. Actually, he's the only civ that I constantly pick for the AI and I am looking for him in the early game to wreak havoc!

Um, you do know that they are just pre-written scripts and pre-designed video animations. Maybe it's just me but I find getting upset at poorly treating an AI that you have no emotional obligation or attachment to.. well.. kinda silly. Maybe I've lost all feeling towards AI scripts due to the computer's auto generating and meaningless "Have a nice days".

But it's your game so play however you want to.

well, this afternoon i had a brilliant game - the difficulty was very easy ( i know i know! but i wanted to get the hang of civ4 first )

I finally took over italy and i saw a sad face of caesar - I felt so guilty and sort of 'cried'.

Dont think this game is ideal for geeks who are over sensitive - unfortunately i am one of them.

Stupid Emo.

I would have to say that you shouldnt get sensetive because a computer lost. It is after all just a game. But What if it Wasnt. Ahhh, the possibilities.

Lol you can't go by IGN reviews they are the suxors afaic. Postal 2 is a riot and is more bloodthirsty than GTA's. Setting the dog on fire was a riot, the sounds of pain and agony are unmatched in any other game. It isn't the best FPSer ever made, but, it's definitely one of the gorefest ones.

Oh I dunno, You ever played Privateer 2? That game had the BEST death screams, bad british accents , people begging for mercy, and then death screaming.

The best was when your Hired help started screaming "I GOT ONE! I GOT ONE!" oh man I busted a nut laughing.
