Could this "Cybosphere" be in fact a "Cytosphere"? Cyto means hollow, and is a word commonly used as a synonym for cell. Could the Cytosphere be some sort of bank of artificially grown organs and stem cells for medical purposes?

If we're going to speculate about wonders, i'd say that the giant metal box looks like a stellar codex.
I mean, it reminds me of a giant USB drive full of everything known about the observable universe! As for the one in the ocean, it could be any number of purity oriented ones. A lab for the promethean project or maybe this "cytosphere".

Thanks! I had a whole article about my theories on the kraken's lifestyle and my interest in the planets ecology, but a mis-click deleted all of it. I could probably be persuaded to re-type it if anyone showed interest though.

The Kraken is a being of exceptional intelligence with a giant brain buoyant in a float stone infused cortical fluid. Unfortunately, it dies after mating which explains why the old ones are very pure and exist only in very remote alien oceans.
