CivDiplomacy in Moderation..

I am missing Adamski...:(

He missed out on the last game, and I hope that he will check the boards soon, otherwise the show will go on without him.

Whew... nearly missed the boat again....

 ready to go now!

I'll just go back N read the thred:egypt:

ah, I may be contacted at adamski_ads@hotmail.com for the purposes of game adminstration, trade consultancy, industrial espionage, or armed intervention - or discussing any of the above ;)

Naturally being a peace-loving country, I will be a friend and ally to all. Mother England could suit....

Greetings to all the lovely players of CivDip 003!!!

Please cc ALL copies of your communication to me at this account (calamb1@yahoo.com).

The First deadline is 25 Mar, 0001 GMT-5 (EST).

Please use the abbreviations for your orders when you send them to me.

The players:

Ambuel: England

Adamski: Russia

Shakey: Germany

Magnus: France

Toasty: Austria

Emperor Snefix: Turkey

The Newbie: Italy

So let's start planning each other's demise!!!:D

I'm in the #1 time zone = GMT+12 (New Zealand).

Is there a FAQ/guide we are using to brush up on the order conventions, special rules etc.

I'm very familiar with the "normal" rulez, but then, whats normal...:crazyeye:

Have you an image of the starting map positions, showing which units are fleets or armies.... mother Russia eagerly awaits to offer her loving arms to the Balkans, and to extend the HAND:spank: of friendship to her neighbours.

Must we send all comms to calamb1@yahoo.com? If yes then I take it the owner of that address is not participating in the game as a player... or advisor ... coz that'd be sneaky. :sheep:

Could you make a general list of e-mails?

Also, does this mean that if we e-mail another player we should also send it to you?

Thankee.

The E-Mail is to me... I will not be helping ANY of the players involved.

www.diplom.org is a pretty good site for helping out newer players. Also there is a good guide at the CivGaming Forums.

The E-Mail list is as follows:

ambuel@hotmail.com=ambuel=England

Snefix@yahoo.com=Emperor Snefix=Turkey

MChecchi@earthlink.net=Shakey=Germany

Here's your map...

Is there a map available which shows the province names? Otherwise I shall have to try and dig out my old boardgame ...

Can we clarify the ruling for fleets: I have played it more than one way. However, here is how I believe it should work.

* A fleet stationed on a land province may move to an adjacent province, or an adjacent sea area on the same coast.
* A fleet stationed at sea may move to a province with a coast in that sea area, or to an adjacent sea area.

For example, a fleet stationed on the northern coast of Spain, can not move to Marseilles.

look forward to your comments ...

That's how I'm used to playing, and if we played differently it sure would mess me up.

Are there flowing lines of communication between everyone else? I just seem to have trouble getting anyone to negotiate with.

Am I just wierd or what?

TERRIBLE NEWS FOR FRANCE!

Upon recieving a letter from the French President, now self-proclaimed KING, we can only presume that he has been BEHEADED by the state of his letter and the fact that he is a King in France.

;). The Citizens of France are however welcome in the EMPIRE (not Kingdom) of Austria-Hungary .

Archduke Toasty (also my cat's name sans the title):

Maybe before you can entertain thoughts of ruling French citizens you should first figure out how to rule the Slavs... :p

King Carolus Magnus of France

(edit: oh yes and those 'welcome French citizens' will be carrying rifles, most likely... thanks for the invite - strudel for all! :crazyeye: )
