Civedit 4 Winciv

Once upon a time I had a DOS version of CIV but that is long gone with the 386 it was stored on. I recently got my hands on a copy of Civ for Windows and that was quite fun. However, I want a civ-editor so that I can change the stats of the units. I have found the old civedit.exe I had for the DOS version. So my questions are two:
Is there a Civedit for winciv and if so, where can I find it?
The second question is:
If there isn't a winciv editor then how do I get myself a copy of DOS-Civ?

I don't believe that there is a cheat program for winciv. If you are interested in getting a copy of the DOS civ, then email me because I might be able to help you find it.

...or try it on Macintosh. It's really better than PC ver, on graphics, sound and anything else. No use to buy an iMac since you can play it on a mac emulator. If you want further details, we'll have a discussion via PM, right?

Oh, TTG, we can tweak Civ very easily on the Mac Civ. There's also a "hidden" unit we can unlock and give it the characteristics we want, from 0 to 99! I once tried A/D/M = 99/99/99! I discovered the whole map in 1 turn. No fun? YESSS!

I got a DOS-version and i tried to use my editor, which has the exe civedx.exe (if someone recognize this). This one extracts the rule tables from the civ.exe and modifies them and puts the stuff back effectively changing the rules for the entire game. However, when running this file it just gave me an error message: Could not locate tables
If someone knows if there is some version issues to this editor please let me know...

Yeah, got the PM and replied it.
Anyway, welcome to the greatest Civ forum. Perhaps the greatest forum also. Ever. Hope you'll enjoy it. We need newbies since older have left (cf. Hakan Eriksson )

Anyway, I forgot to tell you in the PM that there's nothing easier than tweaking Mac Civ (ok, I stop advertising for Apple ). There's an application called CivCheat which can modify you Civ application, allowing to do cool things: units walking on water, boats on land, airplane never run out of fuel etc...
