Just wonder...
Always trying to find a good way to change leader (NOT CIV!) during the game, I've stumbled into this:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=354369

It seems it would be possible to change leader according to the civic you're using; IMHO this sounds great, it would be similar to "dynamic traits" we were discussing in another thread and it would be much more realistic than having the same leader ruling for over 8000 years. Do you think something like that can be included in ROM/AND ?

I think it would make it very confusing if the AI suddenly changed leaders in the middle of the game, and I wouldn't want to change leader in the middle of the game. Just dont see the point. Besides some civs only have 1 leader. And if it was for realistic reasons, well, then I guess each civ should have a couple of hundreds/thousands leaders. Just a comment ;)

The point is that not a single civilization behaved in the same way from 6000 BC to modern era... and not a single civ had the same ruler for such a long period. Actually I think most of the civs have at least 2 leaders and if you've read the thread I've linked, there was an idea of "merging" more civs to have more leaders. And by the way I suppose that between 1 and a thousand leaders in the history of a civ, 2 leaders is anyway better than 1 leader.
I really can't understand why this idea is so unpopular on this forum. There are different other mods that are using this idea or something similar and others are trying to develop similar mods.
