Civil Disorder

My cities constantly go into civil disorder. The only time they aret not is when I'm in peace with everyone else and that's hard when you're in the middle of a war. What can I do to keep them from going into civil disorder cuz that really slows the game down. I usually just bring entertainers in until there are no unhappy citizens.

1. Hook up different luxuries to your capital and cities (the more the better.
2. Build marketplaces, which compound the effect of above.
3. Use the luxury slider (F1 screen).
4. Don't use Democracy or Republic when you're at war (war weariness)
5. Build temples, cathedrals, and colliseums in your cities.
6. Take laborers off city squares and make them entertainers.
7. If you're Despotism, Monarchy, or Commie, use military police to make people content.

Up the luxury rate or change government. You can contact the governers and put it to auto-happiness in which the computer changes citizens into entertainers for you.
