I have had Civ 3 complete installed before and I can't remember if i uninstalled it through add/remove or manualy. I read the sticky and checked my registry but there is no trace of civ 3 there(the sticky doesnt have help for Civ 3 complete edition). I have two drives (C and D). I tried installing it onto my C drive but it says "Setup has detected a previous installation of Civilization 3 in this Directory. Please intall in a differnt directory or unistall Civilzation 3."
So I checked the drive i was trying to install it to (C). Nothing under Civilization, Atari, Infogrames, Firaxis games or anything i thought could contain old civ files. However still it came up with the same message.
So I thought I would try installing onto my D drive where Civ 3 has never been installed, however when I click browse on the Where to install Civ 3 Complete the installer Freezes for a few seconds then crashes.
Any help?
