Civilization 1 vs Civilization for SNES

Sorry about my english writting. I am Denis from Costa Rica, I can`t write very well the english language, but I hope somebody understand this disorder

Ok, I would like know if Civilization 1 (Pc, 1991) is almost the same of Civilization for SNES (1995), it because i found a manual in this page, for Civilization 1, and i see that looks like the Civ. Snes, and actually I m playing that version (snes), in my Nokia with an emulator, but I need some guide or explanation for run all this excellent game in my phone. I want to take with me this excellent game anywere. If somebody understand this confussion, please help me,

The two games are almost exactly the same. All the info we have on Civ 1 will work.

CivSNES has a very clunky interface but makes up for it with an awesome backstory.

Thanks for your answers ! I have other question, how about the AI between this two original versions ?? Is better the pc version or the difference is just the graphical interface ?

The only remarkable difference between the AIs is that in the SNES version enemy civs actually offer alliances as well as peace treaties. The PC version has a much better interface. If you are going to play civ1 do it on the PC.

Isn't the map smaller in the SNES version along with it having some other limitations due to its lower processing and memory capacity?
