Civilization 3 no longer works!

When I click the icon It says I need administrator privilege. When I run as administrator nothing happens at all. It indicates loading for about a second then just stops and nothing happens. I am not using steam and I have the conquests disk in right now and no matter what I do I cannot run it.

I am not using window 10 either so nothing as really changed. This has never happened to be before

Which OS are you running. Windows Vista, Windows 7 or 8?

Perhaps there is an issue with the disc - scratched maybe?

No, the Operating System does no longer inherently support it. Laurana Kanan has post the proper link.

I had the same issue and couldn't figure it out. I had to bite the bullet and download it from Steam. I think it cost $3.00. Worth every penny.

YES! I had to uninstall an update that stopped it. Thank you for linking me this. Thanks for helping me fix the game.
