Finally completed my Civilization II Homeworld mod/scenario, and just submitted it!

Anybody ever play Homeworld or Homeworld:Cataclysm?

Yes I have. it was pretty good. By the way kobayashi, I've played your star trek and star wars mod. You inspired me to create the homeworld mod. I did borrow a few of your graphics, hope you don't mind. But all of the unit graphics are originals i made.

I think the scenario could be better...
I used a lot of star wars sounds since I could not find any Homeworld battle sounds, but I do have some cinematic music. I'm not to sure how well balanced the game is, because I made the Taiidan Empire so massive compared to every other galactic power... but we'll see.

its almost been a week and they still haven't uploaded my MOD! Have they stoped hosting Civ 2 MODS!?

I think TF unloads new mods and scenarios in groups, so it may be a few weeks until he gets enough to do an upgrade.

I just sent him 6 things to upload to the civfan website so I think it won't be long now.

Sorry but the file is much too big to post, even in zip form. This is a pretty big mod/scenario. I changed just about everything.

Alright, seems like their not going to put up the mod/scenario anytime soon. Do you think Apolyton would host it?

Riesstiu,

Get on Apolyton. They have an upload feature that will allow you to upload your files into your own little storage space. Plus there's way more people over there. And it just so happens a few of us know what we're doing. Though if you want to post your files here I suggest breaking up the files into seperate zip files and post them after one another.

If all you wanted was an upload, you could have just gotten it here. You didn't have to wait all this time. I thought you wanted to see it in the scenario collection here. I must add that I am quite disturbed by thunderfall's tardiness regarding Civ2 materials.

Check bottom right corner of each forum screen named 'upload file'.

p.s. I will try the scenario naturally.
