That's so true, if I see one of the world wonders mentioned in a documentary I tend to think of it in civ terms. Also I've become kind of interesting in history since I've been playing this game, so that's my excuse for playing it so much hehe. Its 'educational'!!!

Yeah, the game kind of puts things into perspective when you think about it in terms of the real world, but I've often caught myself doing it the other way around, as in: OMG Persia is in WHEOOHRN mode, and they're in theocracy and nationhood, building nukes...

I've just come back from a few months off civ. There is one thing i don't like about CiV 5 my laptop won't handle it, i know

You fall down a pit. The pit has spikes! The spikes are poisoned! You die...

I had to laugh at this. I used to be a total nethack junkie until I discovered Civ4.

I still think nethack has to be one of the greatest turn-based computer games of all time.
