Civilization Request Thread

Ok, straight off the bat.

The Sheikah: Impa: Keepers of the Songs: Great Works of Music increase mobility in nearby units.

UU: Sheikah Warrior: Unlike the inquisitor it replaces, the Sheikah Warrior can also decreases enemy units' sight when nearby.

UB: Shadow Temple: Unlike the temple it replaces, the Shadow Temple can be built without a shrine, and has a slot for a great work of music. Needs to be built next to a mountain.

How do you not like Twilight Princess?

It's soo boooooooring... :sad::sad::sad:

IMO, Majora's Mask is the best Zelda, because it's the most fun to make no progress in.

Also, I think it would be pretty cool if there was a Termina civ that had so kind of time sensitive abilities or themes.

UA: Final Hours - Unhappiness increases in other civilizations as your culture becomes more dominant over theirs. Upon becoming influential with another civilization, their capital is nuked.

:p :p :p

By the way, if anyone is willing to do pedias for Seonjo's Korea please let me know

I'm a fan of Zelda - well, some of the Zeldas *cough*TwilightPrincessIsReallyBad*cough* so I'd be up for a bit of this. I'd probably prefer to focus on the more obscure and out-there Zelda civs, though, like Ikana or the Garo or even the ___ing Subrosians.
Now if experience has taught me anything you most likely are extremely affectionate of Windwaker and you probably think it's the best in the series when in reality it isn't .

Debate aside I would certainly support any Gerudo civilization seeing how a giant pig man can do so much imagine an entire civilization of those people.

EDIT: Ninjad

I feel like I'm the only guy that actually likes Skyward Sword. Controls were really damn bad, but I dislike Zelda combat in general, and Skyward Sword was pretty cool story-wise, and the puzzles were nifty.

Twilight Princess feels a bit like LoZ in it's edgy phase to me, really.

But Wind Waker's a masterpiece, that I think we can agree on.

Wind Waker was good because of the dragon roost island theme. Twilight Princess seems good when on its own, but really bad when compared to any installment other than the devil spawn that is Zelda II. That's why Nintendo are releasing the remake with the new Zelda U game. Zelda U has a 50/50 chance of people liking the design, new mechanics (laser arrows) and the storyline they'll try to give us, but when put next to TP it will be a complete success.

On a topic I won't rant about on youtube sometime:

Gerudo: Ganondorf: Desert Dwellers: Gerudo units gain a combat bonus when in deserts and deserts provide increased production to cities built there.

UU: Horseback Archer: Unlike the Chariot Archer it replaces, the Horseback archer has increased range and doesn't require the Wheel.

UI: Gerudo Fort: Unlike the fort it replaces, the Gerudo Fort also deals damage to enemy units nearby.

I, uh, don't actually recall any Gerudo bar Ganondorf on horseback. Or with a bow and arrow.

Probably would've gone with a scimitar wielder (I recall them being called Gerudo Guards) instead.

And maybe a pirate ship :p

Maybe a Gerudo Guard, but I was thinking of the massive goddamn shooting range meant for horseback archery behind the Gerudo Fortress.

Next runescape stupid civ idea!
Misthalin
Leader: Roald
UA: The Beacons are lit - Whenever a civ declares war against you, you gain +10% production of military units for the first 10 turns of the war (adjusted for speed). Combat bonus fighting in own territory.
UU: Varrock Guard - Replacing the Longswordsman, the Varrock Guard produces +1 culture when garrisoned within a city, and is cheaper.
UB: Exchange - Unlike the Market, the Exchange also produces +2 production.

Oh noes it's true Korea:

I've asked way too many times now, but if anyone could do pedias for Imjin War-era Korea, Seonjo, the Chongtong, and the Turtle Ship, I'll basically be good to go ;)

Interesting that there doesn't seem to be a coastal start bias for a civ with mostly naval uniques

other than that, hype

Like seriously this is the one test in which they didn't start on the coast. Start biases aren't a guarantee, unfortunately...

I will be up for making the pedias for your uniques. It only depends on deadline and how accurate and detailed these civilopedias need to be.

Hot damn, how do you make that
Teach me your ways

I am a terrible, terrible teacher.

BTW I'm gonna keep asking for pedias at the end of every post until people succumb to my demands.

EDIT:

I am ninja'd by greatness!

I'd like them to be fairly accurate and detailed, but do what you want and take your time ;)

But you know how to put a civ in the game c:
If anything I'll probably pm you to pester you without annoying this thread :p

But I won't be able to help in the slightest! I don't even remember how I learned :p

Look at the decompiled Civs of the game by whoward, and look at JFD's mods (Milan's pretty good for that stuff). If you need help, PM me.

Yeah this is looking good Senshi! But you'll have to excuse my ignorance and answer this: What are ? Are they owns or unit models or something like that.

EDIT! Find it what they are, if I wasn't on Umrah I'd do it. I don't know we'll see.
