Civilization VI: How to reveal map?

Explore map doesn't work as a console command....unless I'm doing something wrong

This game needs to have map trading back.

On more than one occasion I've gone a full game with a lot of the map still unexplored.

Is there any way of revealing map without meeting all civilizations?

Step 1: Go to Config.ini (in My Games, and then Civilization VI's folder) and change 'DebugPanel = 0' to 'DebugPanel = 1'
Step 2: Start a game and open the console with ~
Step 3: Type 'Reveal All'

I don't think that is without meeting all the civilisations, is it?

I saw a mod for this on Steam workshop, maybe check it out over there

I tried searching but couldn't find an answer. Is this solution to revealing the map one that works on PD only or does it also work on Macs? If it does work on Macs, can someone be so kind as to direct me to the instructions? Thank you!

Go to where your Civ6 folder, on my computer it's : Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI
look for "AppOptions.txt"
open it with a text editor, Notepad will do
search for the text " :EnableDebugMenu 0"
change to "EnableDebugMenu 1"
save the file


now start a game, and look for the tilde key on your computer " Function ` " (it's usually on the left next to the 1 key), hit that key to open Debug menu
in the text window that opens at the top of the screen you can use several commands
type "Reveal all" will meet every civ and city state, so be prepared for a bunch of notifications
note: "explore all" will do something similar, but I believe restore the fog of war

Also, you can use firetuner and open the world builder.ltp. In there is a button called "set observer to observer". This will reveal the map without meeting everyone.

is there anyway to reveal map AND all strategic resources? Placing a district on strategic resource seems to be a waste (resource bonus + hammer + eureka).
