Civilopedia formatting wrong

My civilopedia for Civ 3 is currently going past the border of it-

- and is making it hard to read. A similar effect applies to the governor menu, where the last word of a long sentence can float over onto the second.

For the record, I am using KeepRes=1, and using Windows 7. This is the steam version.

Any solutions?

It seems to be something to do with fonts. I seem to recall something about Civ3 and fonts issues.

There is a Windows setting in screen resolution "Make text and other items larger or smaller". Have you adjusted this? This type of misformatting in apps is a result I've seen in the past when people change that setting, although I don't recall encountering it with Civ3 before.

I went to said section and it was on the smallest setting.

I'll also point out that the text below the negotiating screen isn't easy to read either.
