Civs starting in wrong positions!

Hi All

I've created a map which I put starting points on for the 8 civs I wanted to include.

I've set them at specific points but when I load up the game and start the map it put the civs in different places to where I intended!

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated!

Well... we would kind of need to see the map to have any idea, so can you attach the worldbuilder save?

If you create a worldbuilder map with scenario elements (like starting positions), you need to run it through the mods menu (even if you don't use any mods) AND check the "load scenario" option on the game setup screen.

As you can see I have the Americans in the West and the Russians in the East.

How do I load it through mods? I can choose the map from single player setup and tick the Load Scenario box but it doesn't run the scenario!

Maybe I'm being a bit dumb!

From the main menu, select Mods -> Accept -> enable mods that you want to use (or leave them disabled if you don't use any) -> NEXT -> Single Player -> Set Up Game.

Now select your map (should be in "additional maps" if it's in the Maps folder); tick "Load Scenario"; select a civ and difficulty level (selecting game speed doesn't work here, in the game it's always the same as set in the World Builder); click Start Scenario.

Thanks for that...now I can play all my scenarios to my hearts content!
