Preview version of a mod that will allow to play all base* civs on all ages (*excluding DLC at this moment)

In this preview both Antiquity and Exploration civs have been set for testing on all three ages (and all civs are available for a Modern start)

This is experimental, expect issues, and please report them in this thread.

Download here

Installation

extract in your "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\Mods" folder

To uninstall

delete the "classic-civ" folder created on extraction

Configuration

You can edit some parameters in the settings.xml file in "classic-civ\module"

ClassicCivSinglePath : Set DefaultValue to 1 to remove all other unlocks / set to 0 to allow different paths
NumPlayerOnLargerMap : Set DefaultValue to the number of players you want to play with on YnAMP's larger maps (20 max in Antiquity/Exploration, 30 in Modern)

Note there there will be issue when playing with more than 8 civs (religion for example), you can force the end of a turn with shift+enter.

Can the same Civ be picked up again, during Age transition?

it's the only one you can chose, unless you change the setting.

Or how does that work if you choose a Modern Civ in Antiquity, at the start?

I've not copied Modern in Antiquity and Exploration yet, for a full game you can pick an antiquity or exploration civ and play it for the 3 ages, or you can start in Modern and pick any civ from the 3 ages.

Thanks for the great mod. I have a question. If I don't want to keep my civilization in the next era and want to choose a different civilization, what js code should I delete? I just want to choose more civilizations in the ancient era.

Amazingly, I have Himiko, but I don't have the Meiji civ. ?
How you do it ?
Just a few posts up the author made this statement - Does it apply?

Great, fixing the civ7 mess of era changes..thank you

In the age transition to Exploration with 20 civs in game, all of them are locked including the one I was using Norman leaving me stuck in the civ selection menu. I didn't change path settings or anything either.

Are you using any other mods? I believe I found that that using "Unlock All Civs" alongside this one caused the behavior you're describing.

how is it in exploration ?

first thanks for tour work. is here anyway to add the modern et new civ ? if you are interested we prepare a concert in Paris with symphonic orchestra et chorus and the final will be "sogno di volare" from Civ VI.

Axum use correct African asset in exploration. Do you have to assign the artset for each civ individually?

Wait, I thing I mixed up Songhai and Axum. Songhai uses European asset in modern age.In Antiquity, Songhai also uses European building model for their palace, but African model for their unit and regular building.

Nice work. However, I only want to play with the ability of having more civs in the game, I don't care about the civilizations across all ages. Can I remove this somehow from the mod files? Thanks.
