Classical Golden Age is too difficult

I'm somewhat curious myself. Well, let's put it in action. Try this save out and see what age you get by clasical. I just randomly rolled it (Imm/Normal/Normal) so I have no idea what it'll be like.

I just did the first few turns of your save @Archon_Wing.

Considering the nature of this thread I did try for era score, but didn't min/max at all, just played fairly casually. I ended up with 18/25 era score (I did however get 4 era score on the turn the Era rolled over bringing me to 22) so no GA for me.

Like others have already said, I don't think getting a Classical GA is even that useful (not enough faith early to take advantage of Monumentality). However that does bring up a more important question: Are the Golden Age Dedications Balanced? Monumentality being the first choice 90% of the time gets a little boring for me...

What are the other settings? Continents, 8/12, standard size? Matters for the exploration and the general plan.

I purposely go Ancient era dark age and use religion to get a heroic classical age.
