clearing's affects on resources

when you wipe out a jungle (like how im currently trying 2 wipe out a jungle covering 10% of the world) will resources still spwn on the places where they SHOULD have spwned or will they dissappear?

the resources are distributed in the beginning. so they will stay there.
[You can observe AI settling in very unfriendly places - very often there is some resource that will appear in later age]

BUT : if some source is depleted, then it'll appear only in existing suitable terrain.

A good example of this is Rubber. Rubber never disappears and can be found in jungle terrain. Most jungle is cleared before Replaceable Parts and yes you will see Rubber "appear" on grassland but it has actually been there the whole time.
