When it's possible, you can exit the screens with enter, it's just the mouse click on exit option that does not work. I would rule out Python as without your only Python file (CvTechChooser), the error still persists.

I'm just giving this as additional information, I can't help you further.

I think it might be the order of the C++ new Widget entries.

Yes, put widgets at the end of the enums.h and case entries is the lesson.
