Strange enough it works great against the top teams but when I'm letting my 'second team' play a friendy against an amateur team it doesn't work at all.
I've tried a more defensive line up with a DMC but somehow that doesn't make my team more defensive. I might look at the 'normal' setting and the wingers set to 'attacking' (so 1 step back in aggressivity).
Oh, one of my strikers has a 'free role', which works great combined with 'always closing down'. I'm toying with the other striker on 'free role' as well. I've tried that for 1 cupmatch (cup, v.s. AZ, another league club) and I won with 8-0 (!) (this is with EP4), but when I think about it it's probably better to keep 1 striker in the penalty box.
I did notice that stand off and no offside trap works better for my defence, but that's with 4.0.1.
