My computer is less than a year old, and was upgraded to Windows 7. I've played Colonization on it for several months without any problems. Now, within 5-15 mins of beginning a game, it will start running REAL SLOW. I'll be playing just fine, then all-of-a-sudden the figures move in super-slow motion, and every mouse click/move takes 5 secs or more to respond. Moving around on the map is a NIGHTMARE. Even saving/shuting the game down can take several mins for the mouse to respond. Don't know what's going on, it's driving me mad!!! I've run the disk defragmenter, did complete Norton virus scans, deleted & reinstalled the game twice, and don't know what else to do. There are no other programs running while I play the game either. I just wanna play my game and can't PLEASE HELP!!!
