Rik just mentioned to me that we should announce to the world that we have completed the Colossus ... apparently TNT did for their Wonder.
Not sure whose responsibility ... but if our next addition is coming out soon it will be announced ... I'm loath to report myself as it will ruin the effect of the article ... so ... wondering when the next issue of our paper is due?
I know their is big RL stuff happening so don't misconstrue as impatience
What we should do
Actually what about posting something on the Gazette or whatever our paper is called ... saying ... next edition will have 'big wonderous news'

We are actually still in discussion ... and I infact started this thread

It is not in the rules ... and I suggested to Rik that with a boring post it will ruin the impact of the next edition of our Tribune.
So I suggested to him ... that an announcement to be prepared for a big story soon would surfice.
Also in pbem it is usefull because not many go to trouble of analysis that we as a team can.
So I have done this ... and personnally think it is sufficient.
And frankly Rik, most of the teams would already be aware of it ...
So upto others ... but I vote no need to be blantently and boringly obvious about it

X-Post with Fe: I really think that if something is accepted etiquette, then we should abide by it. Especially if all we're talking about losing is the impact a funny little sideline-to-the-game-newspaper will have. I would hate for MIA to be accused of breaking accepted etiquette, even though 'accepted' doesn't mean the same as 'enforceable'

But that's the whole point ... It's not ettiquette in the MTDG ... It doesn't appear in the rules and was never discussed ... Rik has his view, but just because it comes from him, doesn't mean that it is gospel ... that's my point ... and even Gods can be wrong sometime.
The newspapers have been one of the few things that have brought the teams together in a frivolous environment ... i think they are very important.

Tax season is pretty much over. (Still lots to due, but the deadline is over)
I'll do everything I can to get the next edition of the MIA International done today.
Hopefully that's good enough to keep everyone happy!
