[BTS] Combat Odd Calculator

Hi guys,

I've searched the forum and reddit, but only found some dead ends. Does anyone of you have a current online or excel combat calculator for BTS? I.e., I'd like to check some strategies without having to load BTS/Worldbuilder.

Maybe some of you can help me out already:
Musketeer vs. City Longbow/ City Longbow on hill - assuming the spy has done it's deed. (I'd like to go for Cuirs, but need this single city for Iron. So the idea is to skip siege and using spies+musketeers to get the iron. Simultaneously, I'd like to have 15-20 HA ready for upgrade and the pocket full of gold.)

Glad to hear that. Sometimes in these situations it is also possible to buy the resource in question for just the one turn you need to upgrade your army. If you pay whatever gold necessary but make sure to include a resource in the deal that you can remove your own access to, it is possible to circumvent the minimum 10 turn duration.

That's a good hint (and somehow like a small exploit). But anyhow, as my economy was negative already - he just didn't want to trade Iron with me. But if, I would have stopped the trade also by just DoW-ing him.

You can set your slider to 0% research to get a gpt surplus to make resource trades, then set the slider back to what you want.

Yeah, thank you. I'm actually aware of the slider. In my case above I had a deficit at 0%. Specialist Economy ftw. Thus no money available to trade for iron. But it all worked out, I got the GM like 12 turns before DoW - he just fulfilled his trade mission a few turns before DoW/after getting gunpowder.
