Compiled resources.pcx

It's no problem. I do, however, have some updates I need to to do mine, aswell as I have just found out. I was missing a coal in the begining, and the list started at 1 instead of 0. Also, I labeled a few things GRAIN that should have been SPICES. I'm going to correct these. Alos, Ivory I now realize I named Elephants and I gave GAME a bunch of different names, including Deer and Antelpoe. I will make these changes and post a new, updated version once I'm done.
 
That's not hard to do. I had to go back and change the name of gems, because I had made gems into diamonds. That's because I had added rubies elsewhere, which are also gems. :confused:
 
I am currently adding these resources to my DYP game... Imagine trading in:Jade,Marijuana,Pepper,Slaves and many odd things ;)

I have 67 resources in my mod. I have successfully added some of them to the civilopedia. But others are not showing up. It seems to be related to the size of the icon. Any icon over the 32 x 32 pixel limit, is not showing up in the civilopedia. That marble icon is one of them. It doesn't affect gameplay as far as I can tell, but it is a nuisance. I am using Paint Shop Pro 8; how do I reduce the size of those icons that exceed the 32 x 32 limit? :confused:
 
try this as large jade icon (need to reduce max.colors to 256 and format to pcx...)

I'm not using a red stone for jade. What I was saying that, though the correct icon showed up in the game, it did not show up correctly in the Civilopedia. But I found the problem, and fixed it. :)

Drusus, where did you get the large jade icon?
 
I did that, but with 67 resources in my mod ( -22 originals for a total of 45 new ones) I still had to look at outside sources. I've got the small icons down pat, now I am working on the large icons for the civilopedia. For instance, I have added flowers as a luxury in the game, and inserted this as my flowerslarge.pcx for the civilopedia:
 
By the way, does the size of the luxuryicons_small.pcx with its 34 slots, limit the game to a certain amount of added luxuries? If not, is there a larger sheet of this file floating around?

AFAIK 34 is the maximum... anyway, you can only see 8 at once on a city screen and there's no way to use more than 8 to make citizen happy. i think, i made once a mod, where i added more luxury resources without editing the luxuryicon_small.pcx. it works without crashes but you won't see the luxury-goods in the cityscreen.
 
@drusus
I know from the "Global Domination - MOD1" (a german mod), that the game crashes if you've a ressource in city, but not in the luxuries-small and visit the city (if using the standard luxuries_small.pcx with the big one it should work)
