I've had Civ IV for a few weeks now, and just recently it's been giving me a lot of problems. At random points in the game the computer will lock up. This always occurs when I do something (click "see the big picture", got to the city view, etc...).
I will still hear the background music playing, but the computer stops responding and my screen goes black (followed by my monitor going into sleep mode).
I have an Athalon 3500+, 2gb of ram and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro video card.
I have tried unistalling (including deleting all of the "my games" directories, along with the base civ iv folder) and reinstalling, but that hasn't helped. I have upgraded to the most recent ATI drivers as well, but still nothing.
I have attached my DxDiag.txt file.
Thanks in advanced.
