My mom destroyed a computer speaker by opening it up and chipping at it with a screwdriver.

Well in that vein, Ive fried two EVGA 780i SLi motherboards and two sets of Corsair ram over the last 2 months. Thought I killed my HDD too but its possible it was only bricked by the bad seagate firmware.

I once had a motherboard back in the days when the CPU was held on by spring clips. The clip had to be put in place with a screwdriver. Well the clip broke, and the screwdriver was driven into the mobo and scraped through a bunch of the metal lines

I've had that happen too. Except instead of scraping a bunch of the metal lines, the force cracked the mobo.

My mom wrecked half the USB ports in the back of my computer by leaning the computer backwards. I told her not to do that.

Perhaps myself, or transport knocked the clip which held the cooling "stuff" to it loose
