Playing on the hardest difficulty, I find that early on the computer is quite strong militarily and economically (which is good) but as the game develops later the computer definitely ignores many aspects of city development, especially the vital aspect of factories and power plants which are absolutely necessary to be of any future challenge. Most enemy capitals have factories and maybe a power plant, but most other cities dont. My question is, how can i change/edit different behavioral priorities for the computer. I think the lowering of the cultural priority was a smart step in the right direction, and i know that the computer tends to beat me in optimizing its land (irrigation/mines). The computer also beats me in technology for half of the game (i get ahead when i build research labs and they dont). If only the computer were more intelligent in weighing military forces (only attacks when it has a sizeable advantage) and developed more factories and power plants, then maybe they would provide me with some satisfying and nail biting competition, instead of an easy win. Also, why doesnt the AI disband or upgrade its older units. Im tired of seeing catapults and warriors in the age of rocketry and tanks.
